Scripting
If there's one area where SWiSHmax
has really improved over previous versions, it's scripting.
SWiSHmax includes a powerful scripting language called
SWiSHscript. If you've ever used ActionScript in
Macromedia Flash, you'll be familiar already with SWiSHscript.
If you haven't, you'll likely still feel at home because
SWiSHscript is syntactically quite similar to JavaScript.
SWiSHscript is a powerful
scripting language.
If you don't know how to write
script, no need to worry. SWiSHmax has the ability to
automatically generate script for you. It is quite simple
to create powerful interactivity with SWiSHscript without even
knowing how to write a single line of code!
SWiSHmax also includes a Debug panel for finding pesky errors in
code. We at Jimco Software never have errors in our code, but for
those of you who do... ;)
