Building on the foundation of many previous version, Acid 6 proves once again to be in a class all its own. Acid 6 provides professional quality loop-based composition, multi-track recording, and MIDI support for a comprehensive music production package.

PROS

• Rich, intuitive interface.
• Near perfect workflow with other Sony digital media applications such as Vegas and DVD Architect.
• Powerful drum map creation.
• Powerful MIDI editing directly on the timeline.
• Excellent 5.1 surround support.
• Includes a custom edition of KOMPAKT.

CONS

• None. Acid 6 is darn near perfect.
